SURIGAO CITY, Surigao del Norte -- The swift response and action of the Port of Surigao’s Harbor Master made all the difference in saving the life of a ship captain who suffered a stroke while onboard a vehicle carrier sailing from the Port of Davao enroute to the Port of Batangas.

The arrested person was identified as High-Value Individual (HVI) watch-listed pusher and PDEA Priority Target.

Col. Siruno on the other hand commended the operating troops as they succeeded in the operation against the suspect.

“I commend our troops for this significant anti-drug operation. Thus, let this be a warning to all lawless elements that the SDS Police force will not stop in our campaign against illegal drugs and to put all violators behind bars,” PCOL SIRUNO said. (with a report from SDSPPO/PIA-Surigao del Sur)
