Carrascal LCE expresses gratitude to DA with more than 400 beneficiaries
CARRASCAL, Surigao del Sur -- Carrascal Local Chief Executive of Vicente
H. Pimentel, III expressed his gratitude to the Department of Agriculture (DA)
-Caraga, for its continuous support to the farmers and fisherfolk in the
municipality.
More than 400 farmers have availed the fertilizer discount voucher under the
National Rice Program of the DA, held today, February 8, 2023, in this
municipality.
Mayor Pimentel in his speech has committed that the Local Government Unit of
Carrascal will further provide sustainable and quality programs to the
agricultural sector.
The DA, headed by Philippine President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., issued the
guidelines for the implementation of the fertilizer discount voucher.
Accordingly, under this program, the qualified farmer-beneficiaries will be
given fertilizer vouchers to help them improve farm productivity. (Grace
