Agusan Sur's cops deliver 49 law enforcement gains against criminality
PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur -- The Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office (ADSPPO) led by Police Colonel (PCol.) Yahya Bustamante Yusup, reported a total of 49 successful law enforcement accomplishments during the conduct of the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) held from May 30 to 31.
The operations, led across multiple municipalities and police units, resulted in significant breakthroughs in the campaign against criminality, particularly focusing on illegal firearms, illegal drugs, illegal gambling, illegal logging, and the neutralization of wanted persons.
Highlights of the accomplishments:
Loose Firearms: Eight operations were conducted, yielding loose firearms through both search warrants and law enforcement operations.
Illegal Drugs: Six anti-drug operations, including 5 buy-busts and 1 through the implementation of a search warrant.
Illegal Gambling: Six successful operations through law enforcement efforts.
Illegal Logging: One operation, accounting for illegal logging activities.
Illegal Fishing: 13 individuals arrested/cited and were documented in coordination with local authorities.
Neutralization of wanted persons:
Eight Most Wanted Persons apprehended
12 Other Wanted Persons arrested
One service of Warrant of Arrest executed
“The results of this SACLEO reflect our unwavering commitment to rid Agusan del Sur of criminal elements and ensure the safety and security of our communities,” said PCol. Yusup.
