PNP Caraga chief honors wounded personnel in Agusan Sur
PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur -- Regional Director Christopher N. Abrahano of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Caraga, along with Police Colonel (PCol.) Yahya Bustamante Yusup, director of Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office (ADSPPO), honored the three wounded troops on May 29, Thusday, at the Valentina G.O. Memorial Hospital, Bunawan, this province.
The wounded troops were stabbed by a resident in Bunawan while performing their duty as police officers – responding to the commotion of a certain barangay and the regional director's visit was a demonstration of the organizations support, solidarity and concern of the troops well-being.
During his visit, he checked on the quality of the medical treatment provided to them and ensured that their immediate needs such as the medical, emotional and logistical demands be addressed accordingly.
The very highlight of this visit was the giving of the Medalya ng Sugatang Magiting award given by Dir. Abrahano to the three cops who risk their lives just to serve and protect the people and maintain peace and order within the area. (PRO13 Agusan del Sur Pulis/PIA Agusan del Sur)
