PSA Agusan Norte to conduct the 2024 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry, 2024 Survey of Information and Communications Technology

BUTUAN CITY -- The Philippine Statistics Authority – Agusan del Norte will conduct the 2024 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (ASPBI), with the 2024 Survey on Information and Communications Technology (SICT) as rider survey.

The 2024 ASPBI will collect data on the structure, performance, and trends of the country’s economy. The survey results will help shape national and regional economic policies, assess regional economic performances, and measure the contribution of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to the overall economy. Key data points will include employment, revenue, expenses, e-commerce activities, capital expenditures, and capacity utilization.

Meanwhile, the 2024 SICT will focus on ICT access and usage across businesses. It aims to measure the digital divide and generate key indicators on ICT resources, internet usage, e-commerce, mobile phone use, and social media presence. The results will track the progress of ICT development in the country.

The data collection for both surveys will run from April to July 2025, with the survey results expected to be released not later than 31 July 2026.

PSA-Agusan del Norte encourages all sampled establishments to provide accurate and truthful information to support evidence-based economic policies and better understand the digital divide in the country. All information collected will remain confidential and will not be used for taxation, investigation, or regulation, in accordance with the Republic Act 10625.
