Wind Signal No. 1 is now raised over Dinagat Islands, with more signals expected across the region. ⚠️ Possible hazards include: -Flooding -Landslides -Storm surge -Strong winds ✅ The public is strongly advised to: -Take precautionary measures and follow pre-emptive evacuation, if needed; -Prepare emergency kits and evacuation plans; -Stay informed via official sources: DOST-PAGASA, RDRRMC, LDRRMOs, PIA, and other government channels. In view of Tropical Storm Tino, which is currently inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and may affect the province of Agusan del Norte by tomorrow morning, the Agusan del Norte Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC)has recommended the suspension of classes in all levels across the entire province, effective tomorrow, November 3, 2025.

PSA Agusan Norte to conduct the 1st quarter survey on PH business, industry

BUTUAN CITY -- The Philippine Statistics Authority – Agusan del Norte will conduct the 2025 Quarterly Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (QSPBI) for the first quarter. The QSPBI is one of the designated statistical activities of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). The survey is conducted quarterly to provide data on employment, compensation, value of production, total revenue/sales, inventory, and capacity utilization for quarterly national accounts estimation.

The survey covers establishments in the formal sector of the economy with a total employment of 20 and over. Distribution of QSPBI questionnaires will begin in the third week of the third month of the reference quarter, while the collection of completed questionnaires will start 10 days after the reference quarter.

The results of the said activity will be used as inputs in the generation of the Quarterly National Accounts (QNA), construction of the Quarterly Economic Indicators (QEI) and for monetary policy review of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

In line with this, PSA-Agusan del Norte enjoins the sample establishments to support the 2025 1st Quarter QSPBI by providing truthful information to authorized PSA staff who visit the establishments to distribute and collect the questionnaires. The agency assures all sample establishments that the information provided will be kept strictly confidential and shall not be used for taxation, investigation or regulation as provided under Article 55 or Republic Act 10625.
