RTWPB, DOLE ink MOA to support winners of Productivity Olympics in Caraga

Butuan City – The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) Caraga headed by Board Secretary VI Earl D. dela Victoria, in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment – Caraga successfully indorsed seven Productivity Olympics winner to avail of the DOLE Adjustment Measures Program (DOLE AMP).

The ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was attended. by DOLE Undersecretary Felipe N. Egargo Jr., DOLE Assistant Secretary Lennard Constantine C. Serrano, and Bureau of Labor Relations Director Maria Consuelo S.  Bacay, together with the members of the wage board chaired by DOLE Caraga Director Joffrey M. Suyao.

The following DOLE AMP proponents who signed the MOA were (1) Citrus Hill Plantation; (2) Amparitas Integrated Farm; (3) Trento Hillsview Inn; (4) 
 Mangagoy Farmers Fisherfolk and Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MAFFISCO-MPC); (5) Surigao del Sur I Electric Cooperative (SURSECO - I); (6)  Tabon Secondary Teachers and Employees Cooperative (TASETEMCO); (7)  Southway Colleges of Technology (SOCOTECH).

A total of P2,795,684 will be released to the said proponents which they will receive after going through the usual accounting process.

The seven DOLE AMP proponents were identified by RTWPB Caraga who are all regional and national winners of the Productivity Olympics. Their documents were reviewed by RTWPB Caraga and forwarded to DOLE Caraga for further validation and approval. Moreover, an ocular inspection to these proponents were conducted on September 4 and 6 by the DOLE AMP focal Lilian Solis, together with Atty. Lorainne Sacote, and senior LEO Miraflor Granada as RTWPB Caraga representatives, in accordance with the DOLE AMP guidelines.

The DOLE AMP was established through DOLE Department Order No. 241, series of 2024. It served as a proactive measure to reduce or mitigate the vulnerability of workers and enterprises from economic disruptions. (LDS, RTWPB-Caraga/PIA-Caraga)
