AgSur health office joins investment planning workshop

METRO MANILA - The Responsive, Equitable, Accessible, Connected, Holistic Universal Health Care Project (REACH UHC) Investment Planning Workshop, slated from November 13 -18, 2023, at the Armada Hotel in Manila, stands as a pivotal gathering in shaping the future of the healthcare accessibility on a global scale including Agusan del Sur.

Dr. Jacqueline Frances F. Momville, provincial health officer II of the Provincial Health Office-Agusan del Sur (PHO-ADS), provided an overview of the current capabilities, gaps, and potential areas of enhancement to achieve province-wide health system and health security in the province of Agusan del Sur. 

Momville also extended her heartfelt appreciation to the World Bank for its ongoing commitment to global welfare and expresses eagerness to forge a meaningful partnership for the proposal of the Agusan Marsh project.

This innovative workshop seeks to unite policymakers, healthcare professionals, economists, and stakeholders to deliberate on strategies that will ensure a responsive, equitable, and holistic approach to universal healthcare. By fostering connections between diverse sectors and advocating for inclusivity, the workshop aims to address the systemic barriers hindering healthcare access worldwide. 

Through collaborative investment planning, this initiative endeavors to lay the groundwork for sustainable, comprehensive healthcare systems that leave no one behind. Engagement in discussions, share insights, and explore innovative solutions, emphasizing the significance of a connected and integrated healthcare framework that considers the interconnectedness of health determinants.
