It is moving Westward slowly. Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Dinagat Islands and Camiguin Island will have rains with gusty winds due to TD Wilma. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains with at times intense rains. Minimal to minor threat to life and property due to strong winds. While the rest Northern Mindanao, the rest of Caraga, and Zamboanga Peninsula will have Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to TD Wilma. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains. The rest of Mindanao will have Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Moderate to Strong winds from Northeast to Northwest will prevail over the western sections of Mindanao with moderate to rough seas (1.5 to 2.8 meters). Elsewhere, moderate to strong winds from the Northwest to Southwest with moderate to rough seas (1.2 to 2.5 meters). AgSur police stations participate in ‘Bisikleta Iglesia’

AGUSAN DEL SUR – With a better perspective on biking for this year’s observance of the Lenten Season, the police force of Agusan Sur led by Police Colonel (PCol.) Jovito Canlas Canlapan, provincial director, conducted the ‘Bisikleta Iglesia’ Send-off Ceremony together with the different police stations in the province on April 6, 2023.

 

The activity was highlighted with the AgSur cops personally led by the top cop of the province pedaled their bikes from the provincial office to the focal point areas in San Francisco.

 

“This current initiative of the organization this Holy Week not only aims to pre-empt lawless elements from committing their criminal activities but also to give emphasis on the significance of fitness aspect in a form of biking to improve physical and mental health as well as our way of reducing pollution in the environment,” PCol. Canlapan said.

 

“Ang buhay ay parang pagbibisikleta: pagsumemplang kayo, tayo agad at patuloy na pumadyak,” he added.

 

Bisikleta Iglesia is a PNP initiative to conduct ocular inspection in the different churches and places of convergence within the province as part of the intensified security coverage in relation to the observance of the Holy Week on April 6 to 9, 2023. 

 

This activity is in line with the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L Plan 2030 under the Learning and Growth (Malasakit of M+K+K=K) perspective of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030 in developing a competent, disciplined, and values-oriented police force of the province.
