Pusher peddling P250-k worth of shabu arrested in Surigao Norte town

Joint elements of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office XIII, Surigao del Norte Police Provincial Office-Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (SDNPPO-PDEU), 30th Infantry Battalion, and Claver Municipal Police Station conducted an anti-drug operation at Purok 4, Barangay Taganito, Claver in the evening of August 18, 2022 which resulted in the successful apprehension of Jesus Rios Fortuna after getting caught red-handed selling Php250,000 worth of shabu to an undercover agent.

Upon body search several sachets of shabu were also seized from the suspect. The drug operatives recovered from his possession the buy-bust money along with drug paraphernalia. His cellular phone used in his illegal drug transactions was also confiscated together with his driver’s license and money amounting to Php2,020.
