(PAGASA 24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST as of Thursday, 06 November 2025) At 3:00 AM today, the center of Typhoon "TINO" {KALMAEGI} was estimated based on all available data over the coastal waters of Taytay, Palawan (11.1°N, 119.9°E) with maximum sustained winds of 120 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 165 km/h. It is moving West Northwestward at 15 km/h. Light to Moderate rains are expected over #TawiTawi(TurtleIslands), #ZamboangaDelNorte, #ZamboangaSibugay(Payao, Imelda and Malangas) within the next 2-3 hours. Moderate to occasionally heavy rains are being experienced in #TawiTawi(Mapun), #Sulu(Pangutaran), #ZamboangaSibugay(Alicia, Mabuhay, Talusan and Olutanga) which may persist within 2-3 hours and may affect nearby areas.

Commander RCPA attends the First Flag Raising ceremony of the New Administration of Dinagat Islands

SAN JOSE, Dinagat Island, July 13 (PIA) --Major General Fernando V. Felipe, the Commander of Reserve Command, Philippine Army attended the first flag raising ceremony of the new administration of the Province of Dinagat Islands on July 11, 2022 headed by Governor Noli P Demery, other elected and LGA officials.

In the ceremony, Major Felipe was given the opportunity to deliver his message where he reiterated the importance of fast tracking the force buildup of our reservists in the province as part of its resiliency efforts.

The province has already experienced the dreadful devastations of strong typhoon and that they are blessed for having the reserve force on the ground who immediately responded to the relief and rescue operations during the onslaught of Odette.

"ROTC and Reservist trainings are ways of molding our people to become model citizens that showcase discipline, unity and compassion for our people and country.
