Bislig City hosted Gala Night dinner to welcome the Chinese Consulate delegation

BISLIG CITY, Surigao del Sur -- The Bislig City Government hosted a Gala Dinner for the Chinese Consulate General delegation led by Consul General Li Lin, Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) Chairperson Secretary Maria Belen Sunga Acosta, Chinese entrepreneurs, and other distinguished guests on July 11, 2022, held at the Bislig City Cultural and Sports Center (BCCSC).

On behalf of the City Government of Bislig, Mayor Florencio Garay expressed his gratitude to ConGen Li Lin for granting the rare opportunity to visit the Chinese Consulate General in Davao City last June 21-22, for allowing the Local Government Unit of Bislig City to present its flagship project.

"We believe that your interest to invest in the richness of our city in terms of natural resources and tourism will be written in history that China is part of the exponential and accelerated development in the City of Bislig.", Mayor Garay in his speech during the Gala Night.

Highlighting the event, Assistant City Planning Coordinator, Engr. Edilberto Carmen presented investment opportunities in Bislig before the delegation. MinDa Secretary Acosta, Consul General Li Lin, and 2nd District Board member of Surigao del Sur Atty. Conrad Cejoco delivered their speeches during the event.

The attendees were also entertained by cultural performances from Bislig’s talents.
