POPCOM Caraga, Cabadbaran intensifies campaign against teenage pregnancy

BUENAVISTA, Agusan del Norte -- The Commission on Population and Development- Caraga supports the initiative of Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte to address the alarming surge of teenage pregnancies in the city through package of service and information.

Cabadbaran District Hospital will conduct Usapang Buntis Kasama ang Mahal sa Buhay activity to pregnant teenagers on May 27, 2022 and June 10, 2022 at Cabadbaran City. The said activity aims to provide proper maternal healthcare, new born care and family planning. Also, this will be a venue for sharing of experiences, challenges, and establishing future plans as a mother and individual.

Janus Anthony H. Raganas, Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning (RP-FP) Program Coordinator of POPCOM Caraga, will share his expertise on the topic of family planning to pregnant adolescents to protect them from physical, emotional, and financial burden of unplanned pregnancy.
