AgNor now ready for the NLE 2022, says COMELEC official

BUTUAN CITY – “We are now 100 percent ready,” says Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Agusan del Norte provincial election supervisor Atty. Raquel Limbaco in an interview with the Philippine Information Agency Agusan del Norte, Sunday afternoon.

With the deployment, final testing and sealing of the 776 Vote Counting Machines (VCMs) in the different polling precincts in the province of Agusan del Norte, Atty. Limbaco declares readiness for the conduct of the National and Local Elections on Monday.

“We only encounter minimal problems during the final testing and sealing, that include the six VCMs functionality, but the problem was immediately addressed by replacing the VCMs, ,” said Atty. Limbaco.

Atty. Limbaco also said that a Provincial Technical Hub was created to address concerns on VCMs, like that of re-configuration of the units.
