PDRRMC full council meeting sa Dinagat Islands, gipahigayon

PIO DINAGAT ISLANDS - Gipangunahan ni Vice Governor Benglen B. Ecleo, PhD, ang gipahigayon nga 1st quarter Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) Full Council Meeting niadtong Pebrero 28 sa Provincial Operation Center, Brgy. Sta. Cruz, San Jose.

Unang gi-presentar sa maong panagtigum mao ang kabahin sa Seasonal Climate Outlook gikan February hangtud June 2025 diin base sa report ang Forecast Rainfall sa probinsya sa Dinagat Islands gikan Pebrero hangtod sa Mayo anaa sa above normal, ug ang bulan sa Hunyo anaa sa near normal. Samtang sa Weather System nga mo-igo sa nasud, namat-an nga anaa sa upat hangtod sa pito ka tropical cyclone ang gina-expect gikan Pebrero hangtud Hunyo ning kasamtangang tuig.

Lakip sa nahisgutan mao ang Programming of 2025 LDRRMF - Special Trust Fund and Continuing Capital Outlay for Supplemental Budget No.1, alang sa mga programa ug kapasidad nga may kalambigitan sa disaster preventation & mitigation and preparedness, nga nagkantidad og P20,010,522.01, ug presentation of DRRM thematic measures, diin aduna'y upat ka resolusyon ang na-aprobahan ug hiniusang gikauyonan sa mga membro sa konseho aron iduso ngadto sa Sangguniang Panlalawigan for adoption.

Ang mga approved resolutions sa Disaster Preparedness mao ang mosunod:

• Resolution Adopting the Caraga Strategic Risk Communication Plan Thereby Requesting the Provincial Information Office (PIO) and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) to Cause the Formulation of Provincial Strategic Risk Communication Plan.

• Resolution Approving the Renewal of Contract of Agreement (COA) Between the Province of Dinagat Islands (PDI) and the Radio Philippines Network Inc. (RPN-DXKS Surigao) Thereby Requesting the Sangguniang Panlalawigan to Authorize the Governor Nilo P. Demerey Jr. for the said purpose.

Mao sab kini ang approved resolution sa Disaster Prevention and Mitigation:

• Resolution Adopting the Philippine Population and Development Plan of Action 2023-2028

Samtang, lay on the table pa ang kabahin sa Resolution Adopting the "DAYEG" Awards of the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources (PENRO) in Recognition to Municipal Local Government Units (MLGUs), Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), Schools and Private Individuals with Outstanding Solid Waste Management Program Implementation and Practices.

Sa laing bahin, aduna'y gi-andam nga espesyal nga seremonya ang PDRRMO personnels sa pagpanguna ni PDRRM Officer Rosario Jra. R. Alon, ngadto kang Vice Chairperson Fe Consuelo Botanas on Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, isip pasalamat pagsaulog sa adlaw'ng natawhan ug paghatag pasidungog sa iyang pagpanerbisyo sa probinsya sulod sa 18 ka tuig.
