The rest of Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds from the Northeast to Northwest with moderate to rough seas (1.8 to 3.4 meters) will prevail in the eastern sections of Mindanao. Surigao City supports PagpaSHSigarbo 2025

SURIGAO CITY, Surigao del Norte -- The city gymnasium became a hub of innovation as senior high school students from the 22 schools of the Department of Education -Surigao City Division recently gathered for PagpaSHSigarbo 2025: Trade, Skills, and Success Expo.

With the theme, "Empowering Innovation: Cultivating Talent for a Glocal Future," the event showcased students’ abilities in various trades, entrepreneurship, and technology—aligning with industry demands and the city’s vision for economic growth.  

The city government of Surigao continued to support programs that equip young Surigaonons with technical and entrepreneurial skills for future career opportunities, reaffirming the city government’s commitment to education and skills development. 

TESDA Caraga Regional Director Florencio F. Sunico Jr. delivered the keynote speech, emphasizing the role of technical and vocational education in nation-building.
