DepEd meets with Dinagat Islands guv to prepare for reg’l athletic games

DINAGAT ISLANDS - Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) Florence E. Almaden recently met with Governor Nilo P. Demerey, Jr. and Provincial Sports Coordinator Jay G. Benitez to discuss the preparations for the 2025 Caraga Regional Athletic Games (CaRAGames).

Gov. Demerey assured the Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division of Dinagat Islands of his unwavering support, emphasizing assistance for in-house training and other logistical needs leading up to the regional competition.

Almaden expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the governor for his commitment to supporting the division’s athletes and initiatives. She was joined by Division Sports Coordinator Gregorio M. Dumangas, SGOD Chief Rene G. Ebol, Senior Education Program Specialist Benilda E. Eder, Education Program Specialist II Allan T. Bayhonan, Technical Assistant II for Sports Jea Regina F. Moleta, and Division Information Officer Richard E. Davide.
