RTWPB-13 conducts good housekeeping practices at ACE Medical Center – Butuan
BUTUAN CITY - Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) Caraga conducted a seminar - workshop to the medical staff and employees of ACE Medical Center – Butuan on February 7.
A total of thirty-seven participants, composing of the medical staff, janitorial staff, and employees of the said hospital, were apprised with the good housekeeping practices conducted by RTWPB Caraga Board Secretary Earl D. dela Victoria, together with Cornelius Mahinay, Sara Mae Dahuyla, and Miraflor Granada.
BS dela Victoria shared to the participants the objective of the activity, ensuring the safety and health of the workers, as this will lead to increase in productivity. “We believe in the idea that employees are productive if they feel they are safe and healthy. When we eliminate risk in the workplace, we maintain the productivity of the hospital,” he added.
At the end of the seminar - workshop, participants were tasked to establish their own 7S committee to ensure that good housekeeping is regularly maintained and well-monitored.
The 7S of good housekeeping is included in RTWPB’s productivity toolbox which focuses on optimizing the physical workplace for efficiency, effectiveness, and safety.
