RTWPB-13 conducts Usapang 2Ps to local entrepreneurs in Surigao Norte
SURIGAO CITY – In its continuous effort to apprise MSMEs in Caraga region on proper the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) Caraga conducted its second leg of Usapang 2Ps: Pasahod at Productivity on February 11 at Maradjaw Event Center, Surigao City.
Board Secretary VI Earl dela Victoria, together with Cornelius Mahinay and Sara Mae Dahuyla, discussed the Productivity Toolbox, new minimum wage under Wage Order No. XIII-19 for private establishment and Wage Order No. XIII-DW-05 for domestic workers, wage exemption, facility evaluation, and productivity based incentive scheme to sixty-three (63) establishments hailing from Surigao City and Siargao Island, all in Surigao del Norte.
In his opening message, he relayed to the participants the importance of giving proper compensation to the employees. “Our current Wage Order took effect last January 2, 2025, and this is a product of careful deliberation by the board members after conducting consultations and public hearings across Caraga,” BS dela Victoria said.
Usapang 2Ps is an information campaign of the RTWPB to the micro, small and medium entrepreneurs (MSMEs) of Caraga relative to the new wage orders and other compensation-related information. (Atty. Lorainne D. Sacote, RTWPB Caraga/PIA Caraga)
