152 personnel from Agusan Sur complete training on Filipino Brand of Service Excellence

AGUSAN DEL SUR -- The Department of Tourism (DOT) Caraga in partnership with the Provincial Tourism Office (PTO) of Agusan del Sur recently concluded the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Training held in the different municipalities of Loreto, Veruela, Sta. Josefa and Trento in Agusan del Sur.

A total of 152 personnel from the different local government unit (LGU) offices, accommodation establishments, barangay secretaries, representatives from Department of Education (DepEd), transport association (motor operators/drivers), department heads, municipal councils, night market vendors, business clubs, and farm tourism owners completed the training; 30 participants from Loreto, 51 from Veruela, 41 from Sta. Josefa, and 30 from Trento, Agusan del Sur.

DOT Certified FBSE Trainer Marian Jill D. Castrence served as resource speaker who shared her knowledge and expertise on the said training.  

The activity also highlighted the topics on the Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, Makabansa, Masayahin, May Bayanihan, at May Pagasa (7Ms) of Filipino Hospitality and Service Excellence, the Greet, Understand, Explain, Suggest, and Thank (G.U.E.S.T.) Techniques and Help, Empathize, Apologize, Respond, and Thank (H.E.A.R.T.) of handling customers, among others that are helpful in dealing with clients, guests, and visitors in their daily operations.
