Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains. Minimal to minor threat to life and property due to strong winds. Northern Mindanao and the rest of Caraga will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to TS “Ada”. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains. The rest of Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. The eastern section of Mindanao will have moderate to strong winds from west to southwest with moderate to rough seas (2.1 to 3.4 meters). The rest of Mindanao will have light to moderate winds from northeast to northwest with slight to moderate seas (0.6 to 2.5 meters). At 3:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Storm "ADA" {NOKAEN} was estimated based on all available data at 270 km East of Borongan City, Eastern Samar (12.1°N, 127.9°E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 80 km/h. It is moving Northwestward at 20 km/h. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern and Central Luzon.

Gatusan nga senior citizens nitambong sa selebrasyon sa prov’l Elderly Day


DINAGAT ISLANDS -- Ang panggamhanan sa probinsya sa Dinagat Islands ilalom sa pagdumala ni Governor Nilo P. Demerey,Jr. GSC MPM pinaagi sa buhatan sa Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) sa pag dumala ni Zenaida Lerma Z. Escopete, malampusong ni pahigayon ug 2024 Provincial Elderly Day Celebration niadtong Oktobre 31 sa Provincial Operation Center Function Hall, Sta. Cruz, San Jose, Dinagat Islands.

Mikabat sa musobra mokulang sa 100 nga senior citizens gikan sa nagkadaiyang lungsod o munisipyo ning probinsya nga nitambong sa programa.

Gisugdan ang programa sa pamukas nga mensahe ni Escopete agi og pormal nga pagsugod sa programa ug pagdawat sa mga senior citizen isip partisipante niini.

Atol sa programa, Inisyatibong nipadayag og mensahe si Marichu M. Demerey, kanhi executive assistant IV, agi og pagpasalamat sa mga senior citizens sa probinsya nga nakig-alayon sa programa diin kini inisyatibong gipanghingusgan ni Gov. Demerey alang sa mga senior citizens ning probinsya.

Sumala pa ni Project Development Officer III ug NCSC San Jose SC Federation Officer Angelou M. Pascual, han-ay nga gipasabot ang overview sa Republic Act No. 110982, o ang Octogenarian/Nonagenarian/Centenarians Act.

Agi og dugang lingaw, gipahigayon ang pa-raffle draw, ug kompitisyon sama sa vocal duet, cha-cha, tango, ug bogie ngadto sa mga senior citizens diin ang mananaog mamahemong makadawat sa awards ug tokens agi og pahalipay sa partisipasyon.
