NASIPIT, Agusan del Norte -- The Philippine Ports Authority - Port Management Office (PPA-PMO) of Agusan conducted a comprehensive three-day Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Management Training from October 7 to 9 at the PMO Butuan activity center.

A total of 30 PMO personnel participated, enhancing their skills and preparedness for effective disaster response.

The training was facilitated by a team of experts, including Angelica M. Jugao, SFO1 Neil B. Jarina, Jorge Vincent G. Pagarang, MSN, MCDRM; and Kenneth Oliver B. Villegas, RN EMT-B. The sessions featured in-depth lectures and hands-on simulations, covering critical topics such as staffing, communication, and operational planning.

This initiative reinforced PPA-PMO Agusan’s commitment to building disaster resilience and ensuring the safety of the communities it served. With the knowledge and skills gained, participants are now better equipped to lead in coordinated and efficient emergency responses in the face of future challenges.
