BISLIG CITY, Surigao del Sur (PIA) – The Bislig City Information Office recently announced that the Leading Edge Air Services Corporation (LEASCOR) is set to resume the aviation operations in Bislig City on September 20, 2024.

The resumption of air travel in Bislig City will significantly boost the city's growth and development as this will enhance connectivity, opening new doors for tourism, trade, and investment in the area.

Based on the previous coordination meetings with the city government of Bislig officials, the airline will offer direct flights between the cities of Bislig and Cebu, providing residents and visitors with easier and faster travel options.

During a meeting with Mayor Florencio C. Garay, Col. Germiniano Yuson Jr., along with Metachuvie Asong, Jurene Magallanes, and Kenneth Jan Catubig of LEASCOR, reaffirmed their commitment on the  delivery of safe, reliable, and convenient air services.

This renewed service is more than just a return of flights. It is a strategic move that strengthens Bislig City's position as a key destination in the region, fostering economic growth and enhancing opportunities for local businesses.
