Creative Industry Dev’t Council established in Dinagat islands

SAN JOSE, Dinagat Islands – In a significant step towards growth and promotion of the creative industries in the province, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) - Province of Dinagat Islands organized an inaugural meeting for the newly formed Dinagat Islands Creative Industry Development Council at Happynest Homestay in Brgy. Sta. Cruz, San Jose, Dinagat Islands on September 11.

The convergence formed part of the implementation of the Philippine Creative Industry Development Act (PCIDA).

The council is set to play a pivotal role in overseeing, coordinating, and promoting the various creative sectors within the province. The council composition include key representatives from both the public and private sectors namely:
