DICT-13 conducts local digital challenge

BUTUAN CITY -- Government tech talents from Caraga region competed in the 2024 Local Digital Challenge, hosted by the ICT Literacy and Competency Development Bureau (ILCDB) of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Caraga on June 6.

The competition was held simultaneously across DICT provincial offices where 14 participants from various government offices showcased their digital skills in a computer and application proficiency competition.

The representatives hailed from the different state universities and colleges (SUCs), national government agencies (NGAs) and local government units (LGUs) namely:

DICT Caraga Dir. Mario P. CuΓ±ado highlighted the importance of digital skills for government efficiency and citizen service during his welcome remarks saying, "May you showcase your talents and demonstrate the excellent digital capabilities of Caraga's government workforce."

The top scorer from this Local Digital Challenge will be announced next week to represent the region at the National Digital Challenge on June 26. This national event will gather the best digital government talents from across the country to compete for the title. (DICT-Caraga/PIA-Caraga)
