Agusan Sur police office has a new director

PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur -- The Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office (ADSPPO) has a newly-installed Provincial Director following a successful turnover of office ceremony attended by no less than Police Brigadier General Eliazar P. Matta, deputy regional director for administration (DRDA) as the resource speaker, held at the Kabalikat multi-purpose hall of ADSPPO.

PBGen. Matta served as the presiding officer and led the ceremonial change of command between the outgoing provincial director, Police Colonel Jovito C. Canlapan, and the incoming officer-in-charge (OIC), Police Colonel Yahya B. Yusup.

Present also in this historical moment were the force commanders of the Provincial Mobile Force Companies (PMFCs) in the province, including all chief of police in the city/municipal police stations, as well as heads of offices of national support units, commanders of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and other stakeholders.

“I would like to share a feeling of inspiration for the opportunity to lead the wonderful men and women of this police provincial office who are capable and competent with their responsibilities,” Yusup emphasized in his message.

“Let us then continue to provide service beyond the call of duty, service with dedication and integrity and service to achieve the objective of maintaining the peace and order of Agusan del Sur,” he added.

This is in line with the learning and growth perspective of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030 under the objective of developing a competent, well-motivated and value-oriented police personnel and organization in relation to the transformation program of the organization. (ADSPPO/PIA-Agusan del Sur)
