Buy-bust operation in Agusan Sur yields 10.05 grams of shabu

PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur -- The dedication of the personnel from Prosperidad Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) - Agusan del Sur paved the way for a notable operation of the ongoing campaign against illegal drugs. 

The team executed the buy-bust operation on February 16, 2024 (Friday) at about 4:40 AM at Purok 1, Barangay Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, resulting in the apprehension of the three suspects and the seizure of illicit substances.

These are the following items:

a. Four pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachet with more or less 10.05 grams of shabu worth P68,340; 

b. Once piece of one thousand peso (P1,000) bill as buy bust money with serial number KF9 50418; 

c. Once unit of cellular phone; 

d. Three pieces of lighter; and 

e. Two pieces of folded aluminum foil.

The arrested suspects and confiscated items are now within the custody of Prosperidad MPS for proper disposition. The law enforcement agency is committed to ensuring that all necessary procedures and legal steps are followed to maintain the integrity of the case.
