Over 7K cops in Caraga complete courses on specialized programs

BUTUAN CITY --  Seven thousand seven (7,007) personnel of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 13 completed the specialized training courses that enhanced their competency and proficiency in law enforcement functions.

Based on the record released on February 4 by the Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division, the trained personnel included 446 police commissioned officers, 6,328 police non-commissioned officers, and 233 non-uniformed personnel.

These training programs were focused on investigation, intelligence, police-community relations, internal security operations, resource management, logistics, and police operations.

Among the completed training programs for investigation were namely, the Investigation Officers Basic Course, Criminal Investigation Course, Automated Fingerprint Identification System, Crime Scene First Responders Seminar and Workshop, Next Generation Investigation Solution Seminar, and Specialized Course for Investigation of Crimes Involving Women and Children for PNP-WCPD Officers.

"These specialized training programs play a significant role in developing professionalism, discipline, integrity, and ethical conduct among our ranks. Our police officers have gained a deeper understanding of laws, regulations, and procedures relevant to our sworn duties,” Police Brigadier General Kirby John B. Kraft, PRO13 director said.
