Mag-aaral sa Butuan, best Science newscaster sa bansa

BUTUAN CITY -- Hinakot nina Jeliane Endencia at Nicholi Donaldo, kumakatawan sa rehiyon ng Caraga ang titolong kampeon sa kanilang entry na Abaca Decorticating Machine sa ginanap na 2023 Gawad Alunig x Dalumat sa Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City nitong Oktubre 28, 2023 na may temang "Empowering Science Stories through Citizen Journalism."

Ibinida ng Best Kalipunan Science Youth Correspondent, Jeliane Endencia  sa kanyang  entry na bumida sa 63 anyos na grassroots innovator ng Abaca Machine na si G. Pablo Petalcorin Sr. na mula sa Brgy. Holy Redeemer, lungsod ng Butuan. Si Nicholi Donaldo naman ang naging director, videographer at editor sa nasabing kompetisyon. 

Itinuturing na isa sa mga matitibay na sandigan at miyembro ng Ang Narra, ang publikasyon ng paaralan, na sina Endencia at Donaldo sa larangan ng television broadcasting, kung saan natuklasan at nahasa ang kanilang natatanging kakayahan sa pagsulat ng balita, pagbabalita, video at graphics editing.   

Di matitinag na suporta mula sa kani-kanilang mga magulang, kapwa mag-aaral at mga guro ng Agusan National High School at lokal na pamahalaan ng Butuan ang naging baon ng dalawa sa pagsabak sa pambansang patimpalak na ito.
