AgSur cops intensify operations with 63 accomplishments 

AGUSAN DEL SUR -- In a more relentless campaign against criminality and insurgency, the local police forces of Agusan del Sur led by Police Colonel Jovito C. Canlapan, provincial director, intensified the implementation of 36th Weeklong Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation on September 11 to 17, 2023 that resulted to a total of 63 operational accomplishments.

Joint forces of 14 police stations, together with the two Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFCs) and Agusan del Sur Provincial Intelligence Unit (ADS PIU), yielded to one drug personality apprehended; 13 surrendered firearms and one loose firearm through Police response; four Most Wanted Persons, and 13 other Wanted Persons were put behind bars and 13 successful operations in Service of Warrant of Arrest.

Further, 18 operations in illegal fishing were successfully conducted.

All arrested persons have been placed under police custody while charges against them are being prepared for filing in court.

“I highly commend all the PNP Personnel involved in these notable accomplishments. This only shows that the continuous active support of the community to the local authorities will yield to fruitful results.
