AgNor bags award on anti-trafficking, VAWC functionality

BUTUAN CITY -- The provincial government of Agusan del Norte received an award for being one of the highest achievers in obtaining the Ideal Level of Committee on Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Their Children (LCAT-VAWC) Functionality among the five provinces in the Caraga Region, with the theme, "Reach Every Victim of Trafficking, Leave No One Behind." 

The award was presented to Jeanette R. Paredes, Jessan B. Espinosa, PMAJ Ma. Divinagracia LaspoΓ±as, and their team from Agusan del Norte Provincial Police Office (ADNPPO). It was given by the members of the Regional Inter-Agency Committee Against Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (RIACAT-VAWC), led by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Caraga, during the National Anti-Trafficking in Persons Awareness Month and World Day Against Trafficking Culmination Activity at SM Event’s Center in Butuan City on July 31, 2023.

Further, Agusan del Sur and the Province of Dinagat Island were among the provinces that received the same award.
