Bislig City invites public with new attractions
BISLIG CITY, Surigao del Sur -- Looking for a place to relax and enjoy the
beautiful view of Bislig Bay? Do you want to shop on a Friday night while
feeling the fresh sea breeze?
Well, look no further, because Bislig Bay Cafe and Bislig Baywalk Night Market will surely give you the best siesta time!
Bislig Bay Café had its opening and inauguration last August 4, 2023. This new
attraction at Bislig Baywalk was implemented by the local government unit of
Bislig City, headed by Mayor Florencio C. Garay, through the efforts of the
Barangay Affairs Office headed by Paul E. Vicencio, executive assistant.
Bislig Bay Café is designed to let the tourists, as well as the locals of
Bislig, enjoy the beauty of Bislig Bay while relaxing and enjoying their time
with their friends and family. It is just beside the famous icon "I
LOVE BISLIG," and Tourist Assistance Center.
The Night Market at Baywalk was conceptualized by the City Official's United
Spouses Association (COUSAB), headed by board member Margarita G. Garay, in
partnership with the LGU. It was opened and inaugurated also on August 4, 2023.
The Night Market display at Baywalk is operational every Friday and Saturday
evening.
City Mayor Florencio Garay, Margarita Garay, Atty. Conrad Cejoco, City Vice
Mayor Atty. Alfredo Carmelo, with the city council, department heads, and LGU
