It is moving West Northwestward at 15 km/h. Shear Line affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon. Northeast Monsoon affecting the rest of Luzon. Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds from northeast to northwest will prevail over the western sections of Mindanao with moderate to rough seas (1.2 to 3.1 meters). Elsewhere, moderate winds from the northwest to southwest to southeast with moderate seas (1.2 to 2.5 meters).

Top 5 most wanted person arrested in SurSur town

TANDAG CITY, Surigao del Sur -- Authorities successfully served the warrant of arrest to top 5 most wanted person in Caraga for the crime of Qualified Rape on July 26, 2023.

Surigao del Sur Police Provincial Office (SDSPPO) chief, Police Colonel Harry B. Domingo, confirmed that personnel of Lingig Municipal Police Station served a standing warrant of arrest to Louie John Oniot Orillo at Barangay Handamayan, Lingig, Surigao Del Sur. The arrested personality is 42 years old, married, a peddler, and a resident of Sitio Mahabo, Barangay Mahayahay, of said town.

“This successful operation attested that our police force is committed to maintaining a peaceful and orderly province and ensured that justice is served with all necessary legal procedures being followed meticulously,” PCol. Domingo said.

Based on the report, the warrant of arrest served by the authorities with a crime of Qualified Rape, docketed under criminal case no. 373-FC-L, with No Bail recommended, was issued by presiding judge, RTC, 11th Judicial Region, Branch 14-Family Court, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur, dated July 5, 2023.
