DTI, DPWH conduct consultation to stakeholders on infra projects in AgSur
SAN FRANCISCO, Agusan del Sur – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Agusan del Sur and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) from both District Engineering Offices 1 and 2, recently conducted a consultative meeting with discussion on the Road Leveraging Linkages of Industry and Trade (RoLL-IT) 2.0: Logistics Efficiency and Transport Seamlessness to Enhance Agribusiness Trade (LETS EAT) program, to the local government unit of San Franciso and other stakeholders in the province of Agusan del Sur.
The activity was attended by the LGU representative, Negosyo Center business counselor, DPWH representative, civil society organization (CSO) representative, and DTI Industry Development Unit staff.
Through consultation, the team discussed the strategies and mechanisms that could give better results in their projects on infrastructure developments.
The RoLL IT is a convergence program of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Public Work and Highway (DPWH) that aims to identify, prioritize, and implement road access infrastructure leading to various industries and economic zones.
