Moderate to heavy rains may cause flash floods and landslides in some areas. Rest of Mindanao: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms also due to Easterlies. Winds and Seas: Light to moderate winds from the east to northeast. Coastal waters will be slight to moderate (wave heights: 0.6 – 1.5 meters).

Police deployment results in the peaceful conduct of Naligayan Festival 

PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur -- To ensure a safe and peaceful conduct of the 31st Naliyagan Festival, the personnel of the Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office (ADSPPO) led by Police Colonel Jovito Canlapan, provincial director, worked hand-in-hand with Governor Santiago Cane Jr., in the strategic deployment of security forces within the perimeters of the Naliyagan Cultural Center, Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur that resulted to zero occurrence of major crime or any heinous incident within the festival area,  during the weeklong celebration of the grandest festival in Caraga Region. 

A total of 525 security forces were deployed inside and outside the area of the above-mentioned venue to include the following stakeholders: Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), 1502nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (RRIBn), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Highway Patrol Group (HPG), ADS Provincial Correctional and Security Management Office (PCSMO), tanods of the local government units, Karancho and traffic personnel, provincial medical teams and members of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) - Search and Rescue Agusan Sur (SARAS).
