Serbisyo Caravan strengthens RCSP implementation in San Miguel town
SAN MIGUEL, Surigao del Sur -- The local government unit of San Miguel, Surigao del Sur headed by Mayor Michael T. Corilla, recently organized a two-day Serbisyo Caravan in barangays Bagyang, Bitaugan, and Calatngan on May 25 to 26, 2023.
The initiative showed the government's effort to provide better services and
support to the community. It also promoted proactive implementation of the
Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) in the municipality.
Mayor Michael T. Corilla welcomed all the participants and guests who attended
the event, and he had the opportunity to address and provide immediate solution
to issues raised in the community.
The mayor expressed his gratitude to the Philippine National Police, the
Philippine Army, and other law enforcement agencies for their unwavering
commitment to quelling insurgency.
During the event, the department head and representatives of the LGU, together
with various national agency personnel, provided brief introductions on the
programs and activities offered in the caravan.
The Serbisyo Caravan, a vital component of the RCSP, is set to address
community issues by bridging governance and development gaps. The initiative
aims to apply necessary government interventions to achieve sustainable peace,
