One-stop shop highlights Buwan ng Magsasaka, Mangingsda in Carrascal
CARRASCAL, Surigao del Sur -- The local government unit of Carrascal under the administration of Mayor Vicente H. Pimentel III, through the Municipal Agriculture Office successfully celebrated the Buwan ng Magsasaka at Mangingisda 2023 with the theme, "Masaganang Agrikultura, Maunlad na Ekonomiya."
The Farmers and Fisherfolk Month is commemorated annually every month of May, by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 33 issued on May 21, 1989, to honor of the hardworking farmers and fisherfolk for their invaluable contributions in achieving food security in the country even during unpropitious circumstances.
A One-stop shop offering the following services on agriculture and fisheries highlighted the event:
