Senior high students from Lingig on work immersion at PFARO SurSur
TANDAG CITY, Surigao del Sur -- The Provincial Government of Surigao del Sur (PGO-SDS), through the Provincial Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Office (PFARO), accepted senior high school students for work immersion under on-the-job training program starting on March 22, 2023.
The qualified students endorsed by their respective schools will undergo training in acquiring technologies when it comes to aquaculture and gain knowledge that may help them decide and choose objectively to either enroll in fishery courses or venture into a business course. The said program of the Provincial Government of Surigao del Sur - PFARO is made possible with its partnership with the Department of Education. The lucky school and senior high students who got the first slot for the 10-day work immersion came from the Barcelona National High School of Barangay Barcelona from the Municipality of Lingig, Surigao del Sur.
