DTI strengthens consumer protection in PDI

SAN JOSE, Dinagat Islands -- The Department of Trade and Industry- Dinagat Islands Consumer Protection Unit conducted the Bandilyo Alang sa Dinagatnong Konsumador Advocacy Program (BADiKAP) and Tanong Ko, Kaalaman Mo (TaKKaM) in barangays Mahayahay, Poblacion and Luna, all in San Jose town of the Province of Dinagat Islands.

The team also distributed Consumer Education Information materials to the constituents of the said barangays.

The activity aims to increase the awareness of Dinagatnons on how to avoid being victims of fraud and scams when buying online and capacitate businessmen to obtain sales promotion permit prior to the conduct of their planned promotional activity. (DTI- Dinagat Islands/PIA- Dinagat Islands)
