(PAGASA 24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST as of Wednesday, 09 July 2025) The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to affect Mindanao. FORECAST: The Zamboanga Peninsula will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon. These conditions may lead to possible flash floods or landslides, especially during moderate to occasionally heavy rainfall. The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms also influenced by the Southwest Monsoon. Winds will be light to moderate from the southwest, with slight to moderate seas (wave height between 0.6 to 2.1 meters).

AgSur Reserve Force joins bloodletting activity with other orgs

AGUSAN DEL SUR – The organic and reservist personnel from the 1502 Community Defense Center (1502CDC), 15th Regional Community Defense Group (15RCDG), Reserve Command (RESCOM), Philippine Army (PA), took part in the bloodletting activity organized by the Local Government Unit of Barangay 5, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur, led by Punong Barangay Jonathan D. Albienda,  on February 9, 2023.

The main objective of the bloodletting activity is to collect more blood for the Philippine Red Cross and will be made available anytime to patients in need. 

A total of 37 bags were collected from volunteers of the different sectors who donated blood during the activity.

Meanwhile, Private First Class (PFC) Eric S. Misoles, a Bravo Coy reservist, distributed pamphlets about reservist advocacy and recruitment to participants. 

The event was organized in collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross-Agusan del Sur Chapter and the Cave City Lady Eagles Club. (2Lt Adones L. Apilada, Executive Officer, 1502 CDC/PIA-Agusan del Sur)
