PGAS, DENR Caraga turn over fabricated armchairs to DepEd

PROSPERIDAD, Agsuan del Sur -- The Provincial Government of Agusan del Sur (PGAS) and the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources (DENR)-Caraga led the Ceremonial Turn over of the 7,667 fabricated armchairs to the Department of Education (DepEd) Divisions of Agusan del Sur and Bayugan City on January 10, 2023, held at the Datu Lipus Makapandong Naliyagan Cultural Center.

 

The fabrication of armchairs is one of the PGAS projects under the Support to Education Program of the Special Education Fund (SEF) CY 2022. 

 

The chairs will be distributed to the identified priority schools, which are in highly pressing need due to their increased enrolment and situation in the classrooms.

 

In attendance at the Turn over Ceremony were Gov. Santiago B. Cane Jr., Vice-Gov. Samuel E. Tortor, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members and other Provincial Heads and personnel, Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) Minerva T. Albis, SDS Imelda N. Sabornido, DENR Caraga Regional Director For. Nonito M. Tamayo, and the Public Schools District Supervisors.
