(PAGASA 24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST as of Tuesday, 09 December 2025) At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression "WILMA" was estimated based on all available data in the vicinity of Matuguinao, Samar (12.2°N 125.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 75 km/h. It is moving West Northwestward at 15 km/h. Shear Line affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon. Northeast Monsoon affecting the rest of Luzon. Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds from northeast to northwest will prevail over the western sections of Mindanao with moderate to rough seas (1.2 to 3.1 meters). Elsewhere, moderate winds from the northwest to southwest to southeast with moderate seas (1.2 to 2.5 meters).

CPC iginawad ng LTFRB Caraga sa isang kooperatiba sa Butuan

LUNGSOD NG BUTUAN -- Sa ilalim ng Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program ng gobyerno, isang Certificate of Public Convenience ang iginawad ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board o LTFRB Caraga sa Diamond Transport Service Cooperative o DATSCO, isang kooperatiba sa Butuan City para sa bago at modernong sasakyan na mapapakinabangan ng mga Caraganon.
Masaya at lubos ang pasasalamat ni Nestor dela Peña, ang chairperson ng DATSCO dahil sa panibagong hamon na gagampanan ng kooperatiba pagkatapos ng pandemya, kung saan labis na naapektuhan ang kanilang operasyon.

Sa ceremonial signing at awarding ng Certificate of Public Convenience, pinaalalahanan ni LTFRB regional director Jhorgene Paronia ang mga operator at myembro ng kooperatiba na gawing maayos at kalidad ang kanilang serbisyo upang mapanatili ang kanilang estado sa publiko at maranasan ng mga caraganon ang modernong pampublikong sasakyan.

Ayon kay LTFRB Caraga regional director Paronia, hindi madali ang pagkuha ng Certificate of Public Convenience, dahil may kaakibat itong malaking responsibilad sa mga operators, at pwede rin itong bawiin kung hindi nasusunod ang mga alituntunin at mapanatiling maayos ang operasyon.

Ang DATSCO ay may bagong labing limang (15) public utility jeepney na bibyahe mula sa syudad ng Butuan hanggang Nasipit, Agusan del Norte, at dalawampu’t limang taxi (25) units naman na bibyahe sa iba’t ibang lugar ng rehiyon. (NCLM/PIA Agusan del Norte)
