During the awarding ceremony, Officer-in-Charge Ma. Ireen Cambaling lauded the efforts of the organization in the establishment of the planned livelihood project which is now a reality with the completion of the building for the ready-to-lay chickens.

“Sana po ang dagdag na tulong pinansiyal na inyong natanggap ngayon ay mabuo na ang kinakailangan ninyong puhunan para sa inyong nasimulang proyekto upang sa gayon magkaroon ng pagkakitaan ang inyong organisasyon at gayun din ang inyong pamilya,” bared Cambaling.

Also present during the awarding ceremony are representatives from the Local Government Officials of Bislig City, Dr. Bong Barios of the City Veterinary’s Office, and Mr. Miguel Caber from the City Mayor’s Office.

Likewise, TOFWA President Celestino Mundas expressed gratitude to OWWA for the livelihood grant the organization has received through the Tulong-PUSO program as well as to LGU-Bislig City for the technical assistance provided to them.

“We are hopeful that we can sustain this project in the coming years,” added Mundas.

Mundas further shared that they are planning to have the ceremonial blessing of the building in the coming weeks in time when the  Ready To Lay Eggs chickens and feeds will be delivered this weekend.
