Keeping the Tsokolate tradition with Lisbos Cacao Trading 

SURIGAO DEL NORTE, June 3 (PIA) --Who can resist and say no  to a fresh, homemade pure tablea? What about the rich flavor and aroma of a Filipino style hot chocolate in an early cozy morning? 

Lisbos Cacao Trading produces Bacuag's Best Homemade Pure Tablea, the number one traditional homemade unsweetened pure tableya from 100% quality cacao beans. 

It offers a variety of high-quality products to choose from, starting with their Unsweetened Pure Tablea, Roasted Unsweetened Cacao Nibs, Candied Nibs, Yema Tableya Chocolate Spread, up to traditional tsokolateras and batirols. 

Their products are always freshly made and are noted for the rich flavor and aroma wrapped with  attractive and clean packaging.

The business started simple when they needed to make their own tablea after their supplier could no longer meet their orders due to health conditions. Their first customers were close friends and colleagues from work. 

In 2019, DTI Surigao del Norte recognized Mrs. Rosanna Lisbos as one of the Successful Women Entrepreneurs in Caraga. Despite the challenges in the beginning of the pandemic, their food products were on high demand online. 

In 2021, Lisbos Cacao Trading availed of the Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Caraga, through its Provincial Science and Technology Center – Surigao del Norte, to procure their processing equipment. 

On the same year, the enterprise was awarded as Best Firm Implementor under the DOST Manufacturing Productivity Extension Program and received their License to Operate from the Food and Drug Administration for their manufacturing facility.
