(PAGASA 24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST as of Sunday, 07 December 2025) At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression "WILMA" was estimated based on all available data in the vicinity of Matuguinao, Samar (12.2°N 125.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 75 km/h. It is moving West Northwestward at 15 km/h. Shear Line affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon. Northeast Monsoon affecting the rest of Luzon. Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds from northeast to northwest will prevail over the western sections of Mindanao with moderate to rough seas (1.2 to 3.1 meters). Elsewhere, moderate winds from the northwest to southwest to southeast with moderate seas (1.2 to 2.5 meters).

PNP, media hand-over gifts to residents in AgSur village

PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur – The personnel of Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office (ADSPPO) led by PCol Jovito C Canlapan, Acting Provincial Director, jointly conducted a community outreach program dubbed as "Tabang sa Sabang (Help for Sabang)" on May 20, 2022 at Barangay Sabang Gibong, Talacogon, Agusan del Sur.

This event is in partnership with the ADSPPO Press Corps led by its President Richard Grande.

Highlight of the activity was the distribution of food packs to the residents and nutri-bun for the children. 

Punong Barangay, Hon. Sabado Goloran headed the distribution of 250 food packs and 400 nutri-bun with chocolates to the residents of the said place. 

Goloran mentioned that their barangay is experiencing flooding for almost eight months already and this has resulted to power outage in the community They are thankful that their barangay  was chosen as beneficiary of the outreach program. 

“The entire ADSPPO and Press Corps are here to help you cope with the challenges you have encountered here in your place. We thank you also for welcoming us here and for always supporting the PNP,” said PCol Canlapan.
