15 entrepreneurs finish DTI's mentoring program in SurSur

TANDAG CITY, Surigao del Sur -- Some 15 micro-enterprises from Surigao del Sur graduated under the 2021 Kapatid Mentor Me - Money Market Encounter (KMME-MME) Online Batch 2 after successfully completing the program on Sept. 2, 2021.

The Department of Trade and Industry-Surigao del Sur (DTI-SDS) Provincial Office reported that they have achieved a 100% completion rate for this batch with three mentees, Ma. Venus C. Buhian of Mavies Sweets (Bislig City), Kristian Casas of Kobi’s Favorite Food Products (Hinatuan), and Mikah Kristylle P. Cosmiano of Maverick-Kristylle Medical Equipment and Supplies Trading (Tago). They were also recognized for presenting excellent Business Improvement Plan (BIP).

Cosmiano bested 61 other KMME mentees in Caraga Region for having been awarded as the Best BIP.

The KMME-MME is a regular program of the DTI and the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (PCE) to train micro-enterprises through a 10- module mentorship program to boost their entrepreneurial capacity.  The program started in 2017 but due to pandemic, its implementation has been done online via Zoom.

The new graduates of KMME-MME Online Batch 2 of Surigao del Sur shall now compose the 101 KMME graduates of the province. (CTIDS-DTI/PIA-Surigao del Sur)
