DOLE releases P4M cash aid to TUPAD beneficiaries in Bislig City

BISLIG CITY, Surigao del Sur -- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in Surigao del Sur has released P4,108,800.00 in cash assistance to 856 residents here under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Displaced/Disadvantaged Workers or TUPAD Program.

Based on the report released by the City Information Office of Bislig, the cash payout was disbursed last week by the DOLE personnel held at the Bislig City Cultural Sports Center (BCCSC).

The beneficiaries, who are from the 16 barangays of the city, each received PHP4,800 cash.

Second District Representative Johnny Pimentel, Governor Alexander Pimentel together with Bislig City Mayor Florencio Garay led the ceremonial distribution.

The qualified TUPAD beneficiaries are coming from the following barangays:

• Bgy. Labisma (50 beneficiaries)

• Bgy. Mangagoy (50 beneficiaries)

• Bgy. Mone (50 beneficiaries)

• Bgy. Poblacion (56 beneficiaries)

• Bgy. Pamaypayan (50 beneficiaries)

• Bgy. Sibaroy (50 beneficiaries)

• Bgy. Bucto (50 beneficiaries)

• Bgy. Sta.Cruz (50 beneficiaries)

• Bgy. San Isidro (50 beneficiaries)

• Bgy. Comawas (50 beneficiaries)

• Bgy. Tabon(50 benefeciaries)

• Bgy. San Fernando (50 beneficiaries)

• Bgy. Caguyao (50 beneficiaries)

• Bgy. San Jose (50 beneficiaries)

• Bgy. Burboanan (50 beneficiaries)

• Bgy. Coleto (50 beneficiaries)
