DPWH turns over quarantine facility to Tandag City

TANDAG CITY, Surigao del Sur, June 29 (PIA) – The Department of Public Works and Highway (DPWH) formally turned over the newly-constructed Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF) or quarantine facility to the local government unit (LGU) of Tandag on Monday, June 28, 2021.

The said event was attended by Tandag City Mayor Roxanne Pimentel who received the key of acceptance during the ceremonial turnover with District Engineer Minda R. Roslinda. Other guests who joined the inauguration included Adela Serra Ty Memorial Medical Center (ASTMMC) chief Dr. Janice Pagaran-Alcordo, and Provincial Health Office chief Dr. Eric Montesclaros.Based on the report, the facility, with a 50-bed capacity, was accomplished through a memorandum of agreement between the DPWH-Surigao del Sur First District Engineering Office (DEO), and the LGU of Tandag.

The said facility, located in Brgy. Telaje, is equipped with a water supply, internet access, beds, and air conditioning unit. (PIA-Surigao del Sur)
