AgNor distributes free Philhealth IDs in Buenavista

BUTUAN CITY, Aug. 9 (PIA) - The provincial government of Agusan del Norte, through the leadership of governor Ma. Angelica Rosedell M. Amante-Matba, is addressing the need of its constituents to get access to quality health services.?

One big help is the ownership of a Philhealth Identification Card (Philhealth ID) for the constituents to get free health services in hospitals, if not very minimal health and professional service fees.?

Spearheaded by the Provincial Social Welfare Population and Nutrition Services Office (PSWPNSO) led by its Officer-In-Charge Daisybiel O. Demavivas, and the representatives from Philhealth Caraga, the team went to the municipality of Buenavista recently and distributed the free Philhealth Identification Cards to the constituents in 10 different barangays.?

The distributions were held at the Barangay Hall of Barangay 2 in the morning and Barangay 8 covered court in the afternoon. Constituents trooped to the venue with the respective punong barangays. Barangay 1 headed by Barangay Captain Eduardo C. Gabales with 63 beneficiaries, Barangay 2 led by Barangay Captain Rianne Catabas with 56 beneficiaries, Barangay 3 led by Barangay Captain Caridad L. Alaba with 123 beneficiaries, Barangay 4 led by Eddie Jamero with 41 beneficiaries, and Barangay 5 led by Barangay Captain Paul G. Racho with 55 beneficiaries.

Other beneficiaries were from Barangay 6 headed by Gil S. Gonzaga with 52 beneficiaries, Barangay 7 led by Barangay Captain Panfilo M. Lamostre with 70 beneficiaries, Barangay 8 led by Barangay Captain Hernando L. Vasques with 43 beneficiaries, Barangay 9 led by Mr. Jose V. Bernardino with 62 beneficiaries, and Barangay 10 led by Mrs. Prisilina P. Amoroso with 77 beneficiaries. ?Scheduled for distribution next week will be Barangays Simbalan, Alubihid and Malpoc, all of Buenavista. (LGU-Agusan del Norte/PIA-Agusan del Norte)
