It is moving West Northwestward at 15 km/h. Shear Line affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon. Northeast Monsoon affecting the rest of Luzon. Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds from northeast to northwest will prevail over the western sections of Mindanao with moderate to rough seas (1.2 to 3.1 meters). Elsewhere, moderate winds from the northwest to southwest to southeast with moderate seas (1.2 to 2.5 meters).

Tagalog news: PIA-13 nag-organisa ng rapid media reaction team

LUNGSOD NG BUTUAN, Abril 30 (PIA) -- Inorganisa ng panrehiyong tanggapan ng Philippine Information Agency sa Caraga ang “rapid media reaction team.” Ito ay binuo upang maayos na maikalat ang impormasyon sa publiko sa darating na midterm election ngayong May 13, 2013.

Ayon kay PIA Northern and Northeastern Mindanao Information Cluster Head at Caraga Regional Director Abner Caga, ang konsepto ng nasabing media reaction team ay magsisilbing gabay sa mga mga kasapi ng media upang maipamahagi ang impormasyon sa darating na halalan sa publiko.

Dagdag pa ni Caga, inaanyayahan ang mga media outfits na magpadala ng isang kinatawan upang sumali sa team. Ito ay kinakailangan upang mapalaganap ang pantay-pantay na pagkuha ng mga impormasyon. Diin ni Caga, nararapat na walang sinusuportahan ang mismong kinatawang media outfit upang maging balanse sa pagbabalita.

Samantala, sinabi ni Caga na binuo ang nasabing team upang matipon ang lahat ng media outlet sa lungsod. Ito ay isang epektibong paraan tungo sa pagkakaisa ng media sa pagbibigay ng makabuluhang impormasyon sa publiko. (RER/PIA-Caraga)
